What gives you a sense of security?
So, I recently bought this journal - 500 Writing Prompts. I am incredibly stoked about it.
Oh, I also got those Shakespeare sticky notes.
For work.
This is a judgement free zone.
I want to start writing more often. Because I enjoy it very much. And I am going to use this wonderful journal to help me get going. I am going to use the prompts to write whatever comes to mind.
The very first thought - I'm running with it.
It may not even make sense.
It may not rhyme, even if I'm trying to make it do so.
It may not rhyme, especially when I try to make it do so.
It may be a haiku.
It may be a first person personal narrative.
It may be a random snippet of original fiction.
It may be a reflection on a spiritual topic.
It may be my own personal commentary or opinion.
It may be completely random.
And it may be completely repetitive. Like this is and is going to continue being.
This is going to be a place for my ramblings and musings.
Consider yourself warned.
She knows exactly how to call my bluff
She knows I used to hate the color pink
She knows what to do when I cannot think
She's the first one I call when things get sour
Even if our last chat was within the last hour
She's the first one I call when I feel happy
And she listens and jests when I get sappy
She taught me that love is worth fighting for
And that nothing is worth shutting a door
She taught me beauties and struggles of life
And there's always a way to overcome strife
I was the very first to know the sound
Of her heartbeat drumming from all around
She was the very first to feel me move
From day one her love was proved
